About the translators 

About the illustrator 

Ria Mohta is an independent illustrator and visual designer. She started her journey as an illustrator at the age of 19 while pursuing architecture. Her style is experimental and tropical and she loves to play around with earthy, homely tones. She draws her inspiration from the simple things in life

Aparajitha Vaasudev is an illustrator, art director, graphic designer, and dancer who loves creating beauty no matter the medium she is working in. She loves the challenge of taking a project and transforming it into something that adds beauty and joy to the world and meaning to the viewer, something that elevates and inspires. She is an ardent devotee of art in all its forms and has unwavering faith in its potential to make a better world.

Prerana Roy is a visual artist, illustrator and architect. She enjoys reading in between lines of conversations and daily activities to develop an expressive narrative for her art and observe little things and details in human emotions. She also enjoys sleep and chocolate!

Rajyasree Sarkar is a children’s book illustrator and UX designer. Most of her illustrations are based on harmony between animals and humans. She loves spending Saturday nights binge-watching shows on Netflix.

About the author

Pervin Saket is a novelist and poet whose work has been featured in several journals and magazines. She was a 2024 writer-in-residence and a 2025 Obermann International Fellow at the University of Iowa. She has served as the Literature Curator for the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, India's largest multidisciplinary street arts festival. She was awarded the Srinivas Rayaprol Poetry Prize 2021, and she was the inaugural Fellow for the Vancouver Manuscript Intensive 2021. Her work has been a finalist for the Tiferet Poetry Prize, the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award, the Wheelbarrow Books Poetry Prize and the Gaudy Boy Poetry Prize. Pervin is the Editor-at-Large at The Bombay Literary Magazine. 

About the series
