Sarita Saraf is a children’s book author and an award-winning editor with a passion for rhythm and rhyme. She also dabbles in art, mostly birds and flowers. She is very fond of reading, especially spiritual literature.

About the illustrator 

Parmeet Arora Bori is an Indian-born artist, illustrator, and storyteller based in Toronto. Her work explores memory, childhood, family, and belonging through painting, surface design, animation, and children’s books. Inspired by everyday objects, food, travel, and cultural traditions, she creates playful and heartfelt visual stories that celebrate comfort, connection, and joy. Through both traditional and digital mediums, she hopes to create work that feels warm, nourishing, and full of wonder for children and families.
