Illustrator

Shamika Chaves is a children’s book illustrator, graphic designer and author based in Mumbai, India. She successfully pursued a degree in applied art and has illustrated and designed over 25 children’s books, boxsets, board books, slipcases, games, comic strips among others and has worked with several renowned publishers. She enjoys character design, sipping on hot tea, overcast skies, soulful conversations and chocolate cake. Shamika lives and works in a cosy little home by the sea with her husband, Christopher.
